What is embossing?

An embossed design or image is raised on paper due to the embossing process. The logo or text is slightly raised when a metal die is pushed into the substrate/paper from underneath.

What is debossing?

When debossing is applied to a piece of paper, the image is indented or depressed. The substrate/paper is pushed into an indentation by an upper metal die during embossing.

What is the difference between varnish and lamination?

A lamination process adds a water-based coating of transparent plastics (e.g., polypropylene). You can coat printed materials with aqueous varnish.

What is the difference between a matte finish and a glossy finish?

Packaging with matte finishes appears softer and smoother while packaging with glossy finishes appears glossy.

What is dieline?

A dieline is a template or outline that indicates a package design's cut and fold lines. It serves as a guide for creating the final printed packaging.

Do colors look good on kraft paper?

When printing on kraft paper, colors may appear less vibrant. For optimal results, we strongly advise using black or white ink.

In which format should I submit my artwork?

You can share your artwork in a dieline file format (PDF or AI) compatible with Adobe Illustrator for editing. Ensure the dieline is on a distinct layer in your AI file and adhere to the provided dieline design tips to guarantee your artwork file is ready for production.

What is the difference between RGB, CMYK, and Pantone?

Computer screens show colors using RGB values formed by blending light beams of three colors. In printing, CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key) is a process that mixes inks to produce colors. The CMYK system involves four primary inks to achieve the desired shade. On the other hand, Pantone color is a pre-mixed ink with enhanced consistency and accuracy during printing.

Can you print in Pantone colors (PMS)?

There are two options when it comes to PMS matching. We use color-matching techniques for orders over 1000 units to achieve an 85%+ PMS match. Or, for larger orders above 3,000 units, we can use a high-definition Flexo press for an exact PMS match. We have got the solutions to meet your PMS matching needs.

Is it possible to print inside the box?

Our custom boxes can be printed inside any style you want! There are mailers, shippers, and tuck tops included in this category.

Does your company use recycled materials?

The answer is yes! Every board we use contains at least 50% recycled material. The boards we manufacture are 100% recyclable as well!

What is a flute in the packaging sense?

In packaging, a flute refers to the wavy layer of material between the linerboards in corrugated cardboard. It provides strength and rigidity to the material.

What is the thickness of the board you use?

The thickness of the board we use for custom packaging varies based on the specific requirements of each project. We offer a range of options, allowing clients to choose the thickness that best suits their needs. We use the following board and paper specifications for each box style we offer: Mailer box: E-Flute 32 ECT (200 lbs TEST) - thickness 1/16". Rigid Box: 80lbs (160m) litho paper + 0.50pt board – total thickness 1/16". Shipping Box: B-Flute 32 ECT (1/8” thick) - designed for 200 lbs of weight. Folding Box: 18pt SBS Board.

How do white and Kraft boards differ?

Our whiteboard has both a matte white and a glossy white surface, making it an excellent choice for vivid color printing. On the other hand, the Kraft board has a brown shade on both sides, which may make colors look muted. Choosing Kraft board, however, gives your packaging an organic, eco-friendly feel.

How does biodegradable differ from compostable?

The decomposition of biodegradable packaging occurs when bacteria and fungi are present and when the packaging is exposed to sunlight. Decomposition takes a variable amount of time. Compostable packaging, on the other hand, decomposes within 90 days under similar conditions.

What is offset printing?

Offset printing is a high-quality technique known as lithography or lithographic printing, where inked images are transferred from a plate to a rubber blanket and then to the printing surface. This indirect process is ideal for large-volume projects and ensures consistent, sharp results.

What is digital printing?

Digital printing is a modern printing method that directly reproduces digital files onto various surfaces without the need for traditional printing plates. It is a cost-effective and efficient solution for smaller print runs, offering quick turnaround times and the ability to customize each printed piece easily.

What kind of corrugated boxes do you use? Single wall or double wall?

The boxes we use in our inventory are exclusively single-wall corrugated cartons. We will explore options to accommodate your request if you need double-wall corrugated boxes

What is the strength of your mailers and shipping boxes?

We manufacture durable mailers and shipping boxes. We use a 200 lbs (32 ECT) board to ensure their sturdiness. Approximately 40 pounds can be safely carried in each box. We provide packaging solutions that are reliable and strong.

What is your minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum order quantity. You can order any number of boxes as per your requirements.

What is the production time?

Our production time is about 8 to 12 business days for completing your order. But if you want to complete it earlier than production time, you can consider rush orders, which take 5 to 6 business days.

Yes, it does because these techniques require specialized equipment, skilled labor, and often custom tools, which increases the cost.

Which currencies do you accept?
